Privacy notice

Information collected

For orders: name, company (if given), email, mobile, delivery address and postcode, delivery day, items ordered and access notes. For emails: your email address and the message.

Card details are typed into our payment provider's checkout page and handled there. We never receive them.

Purposes and lawful basis

Processing payments, preparing and delivering orders, sending confirmations and delivery updates, handling queries, changes and refunds, and keeping legally required records. The lawful bases are performance of our contract with you and compliance with legal obligations.

Processors and recipients

Our card payment provider handles payments. Your order sits in the system we use to process and track orders. The delivery driver receives the name, address, mobile number and access notes needed for the delivery. With your consent, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity receive website usage data, but not order or contact details.

We don't sell personal information or share it for others' marketing. We'd only disclose it otherwise where legally required.

Retention

Order records: retained 6 years (accounting). Email conversations with no order attached are removed after 6 years.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we no longer need, by emailing info@buyfencingnortheast.co.uk. Cookie consent can be changed from the footer.

If you have a concern, contact us first. Complaints can also be made to the Information Commissioner's Office.
